The Band

Vocals, Guitar & Harmonica

Born on the corner of Thunder Road and 10th Avenue in the Promised Land, Steve is a self confessed Bruceaholic; a prisoner of rock and roll. 

He caught the the bug many moons ago when still a tender teen, when Rosalita burst onto his late night TV screen on the Old Grey Whistle Test. 

He saw his first live show on the River tour and the rest, as they say, is history.

Drums & Percussion

The engine and beating heart of the band. 

A human metronome with the groove of Motown and the drive of a Hot Rod Ford tearing down the New Jersey Turnpike.

Bass & Backing Vocals

A founding member of the East Street Band. 

Keeping things tight and bringing the thunder down under with the bass sound of a sixty nine Chevy with a 396.

Piano, Keyboards & Backing Vocals

She will make you cry one minute with the tender introduction to Jungleland, and have you on your feet the next with the roadhouse Hammond B3 of Ramrod. 

Schooled in classics and musical theatre, she taught the rest of us to sing sweet harmonies.

Saxophone, Percussion & Backing Vocals

Oliver Whawell is a multi-instrumentalist who had grade 8 piano before he started playing the saxophone at the age of 15. 

He is a life long fan of Andy Mackay of Roxy Music. Oliver discovered to his great delight that the Big Man, Clarence Clemons, and Mackay were both fans of legendary King Curtis. At every show, he is paying tribute to the three saxophonists currently in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!

Guitar & Backing Vocals

The coolest cat on East Street, guitar slinger extraordinaire, he brings the spirit of rock and roll to the band. 

He literally learned more from a three minute record than he ever learned in school.

 Backing Vocals, Violin & Saxophone

One of the most talented musicians you will ever meet, she is also a very funny lady. The only thing missing is, she doesn’t have an ego.  

Miss Dynamite, a real  Sassy Classy Lassy.
